Investment Management Case Study

The Challenge

Our client wanted to improve collaboration and speed of execution across their top 450 leaders across the world.

Traditional leadership programmes had not been successful in addressing these challenges.

They wanted a new and impactful approach that could be delivered virtually across multiple time zones.

The History

Meta Team had already been working successfully with two of the company’s top teams (Chief of Staff and Chief Operating Officer’s teams), taking them through the traditional Meta Team approach of diagnostic and feedback, followed by a series of sequenced 90-minute workouts to drive immediate impact and performance.

On the back of this success, we were asked to adapt and widen our approach to address collaboration and execution speed for all 450 global leaders.

The Solution

Agility

Think strategically, the team synthesises and creates a view of their landscape in a way that enables them to innovate and make an impact.

The Meta Team habit to address collaboration and speed of execution is Agility, which is made up of 4 micro-behaviours.

We took two of these, “Spotting Opportunities” and “Creating New Value”, and ran 90-minute workouts with 450 global leaders in eleven mixed cohorts over four weeks.

Each cohort came together twice for two hours via Teams. We worked with each cohort in four breakout groups and four of our coaches facilitated the immersive and experiential workouts.

To accommodate all global territories, workouts were run morning, noon and evening.

The CEO kicked off the program with a 45-minute session positioning the programme and what she expected from it, and then ended with a summary of the top five initiatives created during the programme which the company will now take forward.

The Impact

Just a snapshot of the feedback we received from the 450 leaders during the programme.
