Privacy Policy.
How we collect, use and protect personal data through this website and our contact channels.
Last updated: 11 August 2026
Who we are
This website is operated by Meta Team Limited (“Meta Team”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in the United Kingdom. For any question about this policy or how we handle personal data, contact us at info@metateam.co.uk.
What personal data we collect
We collect personal data in the following ways:
- Contact and enquiry forms. When you submit a form on this website (for example on our Talk to Us, Enterprise or Partner contact pages), we collect the information you provide, typically your name, organisation, email address, role and the details of your enquiry.
- Direct correspondence. If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence and any information it contains for as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of the relationship.
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which may result in your device connecting to Google’s servers to retrieve font files; Google’s own privacy policy applies to that connection.
How we use your data
We use the personal data you provide to us to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange any follow-up conversation, diagnostic or engagement you have requested.
- Maintain records of our communications with you and your organisation.
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Our legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest, responding to enquiries you have voluntarily raised with us, and, where a commercial relationship develops, the steps necessary to enter into a contract with your organisation.
How we share your data
Website enquiry forms are processed using FormSubmit, a third-party form-delivery service, which forwards your submission to our inbox. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties. We may share information with trusted service providers who support our operations (for example, email or scheduling tools), each bound to protect your data appropriately.
Where a client engagement proceeds beyond an initial enquiry, personal data collected through the Team Performance Profiler and associated diagnostic tools (for example, multi-rater survey responses from team members, line managers and stakeholders) is governed by a separate data processing agreement with the client organisation, not by this website policy. If you have taken part in a Meta Team diagnostic and have a question about that data, please contact the organisation that commissioned the engagement, or reach us directly and we will help.
How long we keep your data
We retain enquiry and correspondence data for as long as necessary to respond to you, pursue any resulting business relationship, and meet our legal, accounting or reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to delete your data, or restrict or object to our processing of it, in certain circumstances.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where our processing is based on consent.
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe we have not handled your data properly.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@metateam.co.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
